Physical dock alarm + app blocking for iPhone

The alarm you cannot dismiss from bed.

Place the Lumi Dock away from your bed. When the alarm rings, the only way to silence it is to get up and scan the dock with your phone. The same dock can guard focus sessions and app blocks.

How it works

Morning and night

Person setting a wake-up routine on an iPhone

Choose your wake up

Set your wake time and pick the apps that should stay blocked when your night routine starts.

Person sleeping in bed after apps lock at bedtime

Apps lock at bedtime

When it is time to sleep, Lumi blocks the apps you selected so your phone stops pulling you back in.

Tap in

Start a focus block with one tap. Your distracting apps stay sealed until you tap your Lumi Dock again.

Person focused at a laptop during a protected work session

Run protected timers

Use timers to block apps, guard a work session, or create an alarm that requires a dock scan to end.

Person reading a book after reclaiming time from distracting apps

Reclaim your time

Build days where your phone supports the plan instead of giving every distraction an easy escape hatch.

Beyond alarms

One dock. Every protected flow.

  • Tap-to-block your most distracting apps.
  • Strict timers for deep work sessions.
  • Bedtime schedule blocking.
  • Dock scan required for protected pauses and unlocks.

Why it works

Better than apps you can ignore.

Lumi gets you out of bed and keeps you out of doomscroll mode by moving the escape hatch into the real world.

01

Get up. No snoozing.

Place your Dock away from bed. When the alarm rings, it keeps going until you stand up, walk over, and scan.

02

Lock it all. Right away.

Block distractions with one tap, or schedule protected sessions for deep work, workouts, meditation, and bedtime.

03

A real-world off switch.

Lumi ties the unlock to a physical action, so your planned boundary is harder to override from the couch or under the covers.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How is Lumi different from a normal alarm?

A normal alarm can be dismissed from bed. A Lumi alarm can require a scan of your paired Lumi Dock, so dismissing it means physically getting up and walking to wherever you placed the dock.

How is Lumi different from Screen Time limits?

Screen Time limits can be overridden with a tap. Lumi can require a physical dock scan to pause or end protected blocking sessions, so the easiest path is the one you planned in advance.

What does the Lumi Dock do?

It's an NFC-based physical key. Your iPhone must scan it to dismiss dock-required alarms, cancel strict timers, take schedule-blocking breaks, or toggle protected app blocks. Lumi validates that it's your official paired dock.

Does Lumi work on Android?

No. Lumi is currently iPhone-only.

What happens if I lose my dock?

The current app includes an emergency pass concept for exceptional situations. Final lost-dock policy is a placeholder until launch details are confirmed.

Does checkout work yet?

Not yet. Buy buttons on this page are placeholders; checkout will be wired up when the store launches.

Can one phone use multiple docks?

Yes. Lumi is designed for flexible setups, so you can keep a Dock by the bed, at your desk, or wherever a protected routine should end.

Can one dock work with multiple phones?

Yes. A Dock can support more than one iPhone, so shared spaces can use one physical scan point.
